Overview

This course provides an introduction to the methods of data analysis used in biology.

Course Structure & Grading

For 4 credits: One problem set is due outside Herrin 406 at 4 pm Friday each week. Please note that the building doors are locked after 4:30 pm. There will be a take-home final due at the end of the quarter. The problem sets in aggregate and the final each make up half the grade.

For 5 credits: In addition to the above, complete a three to five page analysis on data of your own finding or fabrication. Accordingly, the project counts for 20% of the grade; the homework and the final are each valued at 40%. The project is due on TBA at the same time and place as the final exam - see below.
